Philip Lockett
Founder

Biography
Philip leads investment strategy and portfolio management at BlackRidge Capital. With a robust and diverse knowledge base, he boasts a proven track record in institutional investing, venture scaling, and delivering impressive returns for shareholders.
He brings over 25 years of experience in equity special situations and fixed income portfolio management, having worked at renowned investment firms like Smith Barney and prominent hedge funds including Millennium, Merus Global, and Shay Capital.
Philip started his career as a Captain in the field artillery where he was Airborne and Air Assault certified. He holds a degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, supplemented by an MBA from University of Michigan School of Business.

With over 25 years of experience, starting with selling municipal bonds to institutional sales and trading desks, Jason serves as a perfect complement to PM Philip Lockett.
Tasked with capital raises and investor relations, his broad range of experience spans from retail-oriented shops like E*Trade and Ameritrade, to institutional desks like Utendahl Partners and Wells Fargo, giving him a strong foundation to grow BlackRidge.
Jason leads our research initiatives and oversees all trading operations, ensuring our strategies are executed with precision and discipline.
